Yes — delivery is available via insured third-party transporters. No caravan can be collected or delivered until paid for in full with cleared funds. Storage charges of £20 per day apply if a caravan isn't collected within 7 days of being ready.

No, we are currently not VAT registered — so the price you see is the price you pay.

We recommend a combined service and habitation check once a year. This keeps you road legal, protects your warranty and catches issues like damp before they become expensive.

Our habitation check covers the damp survey, electrical systems, bodywork and ventilation, the gas system and the water system — a full safety and integrity inspection of the living area.

All warranty and repair work is return to base — we don't offer an onsite service. This ensures work is carried out in a fully-equipped workshop to the highest standard.

Drivers who passed their test before 1 January 1997 can tow a combined vehicle and trailer weight up to 8,250kg. For anyone who passed after that date, changes that removed the trailer towing test mean you can automatically tow a trailer up to 3,500kg Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM), regardless of when you passed. Just make sure your category B+E entitlement is officially recorded on your photocard driving licence.

No, touring caravans don't require an MOT. However, they're shaken about on the road and must be kept in a roadworthy condition.

Yes. In the UK you're limited to 50mph on single carriageways and 60mph on dual carriageways or motorways.

No, it's strictly illegal to have passengers inside a touring caravan while it's in motion.

If your towing vehicle's MAM is 3,500kg or less, you cannot tow a trailer longer than 7 metres.

It's highly recommended that a fully loaded caravan weighs no more than 85% of your car's kerbweight. This keeps the combination stable and helps prevent snaking.

Distribute weight safely: pack heavy items (like awnings and other heavy equipment) low down on the floor, directly over or slightly in front of the caravan's wheels. Keep lighter cargo in the high-level overhead lockers.

A proper type-approved towbar, a breakaway cable, the correct matching car registration plate on the rear of your caravan, and working towing mirrors if the caravan is wider than your car.

While not legally compulsory, comprehensive touring caravan insurance is highly recommended. Your standard car insurance only covers third-party liability for the towed trailer.

Mass in Running Order (MRO) is the weight of the empty, factory-standard caravan. Maximum Technically Permissible Laden Mass (MTPLM) is the absolute heaviest the caravan can legally be when fully packed. Never exceed the MTPLM.

For travel to most European countries, caravans over 750kg MAM must be registered with the DVLA before you leave, under the UK Trailer Registration Scheme. You'll be issued a certificate and need to display a separate trailer registration plate on the back of your caravan.

The rollout of digitised borders and the EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) means increased processing times at ports, always plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
